Line Objects
One line, a short loop, a single sound.
Line Objects is a collection of everyday things drawn in a single line and set in motion: a radio, a jukebox, a court sneaker, a cat, a stack of books, an office chair, a soda can and an alarm clock. Made at OONA, the studio I founded, it is a study in how little a drawing needs to feel alive. I designed and coded every piece: each object is modeled in 3D and traced live as it moves, with its own loop and its own sound, built from tones and noise the moment it plays.

The collection
Eight objects, eight loops, each with its own sound.
Details
Drawn from geometry, so the line holds up close.
Sixty ticks and a second hand
Every minute mark, the inner ring and the alarm hand, all modeled rather than drawn on.
Toe box and overlays
Perforations, the stitch line and the toe overlay, built on the shoe's own surface.
A study in how little a drawing needs to feel alive: one line, a short loop, a single sound.
Every object is built as a real 3D model and traced as it moves, so the line stays sharp at any size and nothing on the page is a video or an image file. Outlines carry the drawing and inner details sit back at a lighter weight; point at an object and its parts are named, like a technical plate.
Each object carries its own sound, built from tones and noise the moment it plays: a radio tuning through static, a record dropping, a sneaker coming apart, a can popping, a bell. Nothing is a recording.
